How much did you pay?
So , how much did you pay for Radiohead’s new album? Me? £6.
This is slightly old news, but it’s still sounding fresh over here where I’m from. Hip hop producer Amplive, known in my book for his work with Del the Funky Homosapien (best rap name ever), remixed a few tracks from our darling Radiohead’s In Rainbows, and got permission from Radiohead to release it free, yo. You can download Rainydayz Remixes here and take a peek for yourselfz. Thanks to Kurt for the hookupz.
This photo is hilarious. Radiohead’s Thom Yorke and veteran musician David Byrne, in a Wired article on the Real Value of Music (photo by Wired’s James Day). Somehow this is an uncanny resemblance to Mr. Dilworth.
Speaking of that Radiohead album, “gothic hiphop” artist Saul Williams is releasing his new CD this week (produced by Trent Reznor) in a similar manner. $5 or free. The music industry is changing.
