JavaScript and screen readers
In recent months, many web designers have been asking the question, “How can I make my dynamic site accessible?” Unfortunately, good answers have been slow in coming from the accessibility community. While some articles have touched on the problem, not many have gone into details. Here is our first attempt at rectifying this situation.
Aaron Barker sent me a great article on ARIA and how it can be used to make AJAX apps more accessible. I expect that as the standard evolves, it will do great things for improving the accessibility of the richer web applications.
PeepCode is a great way to learn Ruby on Rails, Ajax, and more all by watching screencasts (i.e. videos). Check it out, y’all.
